Feasting with Zen
This is a beautiful restaurant. The views are stunning. The vibes are strong. The one fault the services on the evening was lacking as we had a few dietary requirements on their table, I don’t believe they were expressed to the Kitchen when placing orders .

I work in hospitality, so forgive me if I'm a bit picky. It was a rainy evening, so luckily we were moved inside. The setting is intimate and classy. We ordered potatoes, but the waitress served us rice instead. To avoid waste and spare the chef, we decided to keep the rice. No commercial gesture was made. Then, we had to try to get the waitress's attention for 30 minutes before we could order our desserts. The restaurant was full, with only two waiters running everywhere. I think one more waiter that evening would not have been out of place. Especially since one of the desserts we had planned to order was sold out two minutes before we were finally able to order. The funny thing is that we slipped away for five minutes to admire the view while we waited for our desserts to arrive, leaving my bag on the chair. When we came back, the table had been cleared and cleaned, my bag was at the reception desk, and the host had already sent a message to my partner... Perhaps the team could help each other out a little more by running food or drinks at the very least, so that the waiters can spend more time with the customers. Also, if we hadn't checked the bill, we would have had to pay for both the potatoes AND the rice. That being said, the food was excellent and the waitress was very pleasant when she was around.

My wife and I had valentine's lunch here. There was plenty of seating available. The weather wasn't the best for rooftop dining, it was overcast with light showers. But we did have a large umbrella over our table. The food was good but not great. Our wagyu striploin was overcooked and the Hakushu was cold and found it chewy. The oysters and salmon sushi was delicious. They incorrectly severed us the wrong salmon sushi which they let us keep and bought out the correct one. Service was good, they regularly checked on our table and took empty plates.

Great food, beautiful scenery and lovely staff. Met here for a celebration with family around early afternoon and there were about 3 other tables seated. Food and drink is ordered via QR code, which caused a bit of confusion with some of the less tech savvy of the group but that’s our own user error. Drinks came out swiftly and food was timely and delicious. We all loved the corn ribs and the wagyu tartare! By the time we left, people were starting to fill up seats for the late afternoon. It was nice to have a celebration with a bit of space to breathe and roam before the busy arvo rush. As a lil tip, if you’re ordering anything that comes served in an ice bowl, maybe ask for some extra napkins, as it did leak in the afternoon sun and travelled to our laps haha. But, c’est la vie.

Definitely a great culinary experience! I tried dishes I had never seen before. The place is really nice and offers a beautiful view of the city. I went in the afternoon and got to watch the sunset — it was a bit windy, but that’s not the restaurant’s fault, so overall the experience was great. The staff were generally attentive. It’s a place worth visiting and coming back to from time to time!
